It is required to maintain the performance of building equipment and broadcasting apparatuses and the operation for the disaster broadcasting on the occasion of a disaster.

This technical report specifies a guideline to clarify the performance of building equipment and broadcasting apparatuses and to maintain the disaster broadcasting for the countermeasure of disaster by learning from “Hanshin and Awaji Great Earthquake” in 17 January 1995.

“Disaster” referred to in this technical report is “storm, heavy rain, flood, earthquake, big fire, etc.” defined in 2 of Article 6 of the Broadcast Act.
