Overview of ARIB Technical Report (TR-B18)

1. Overview

TR Number ARIB TR-B18
Technical Report Name Color Frame Information for Component Interface of 525/60 and 1125/60 Television Systems
Enactment Date 06.20.2000
General Description

This technical report defines the multiplex method of the color frame information, which is used when a 525/60 composite signal is converted to a 525/60 or 1125/60 component signal in the component interface of the 525/60 and 1125/60 television systems.

By complying with the specification of this report, the consistency of the color frame information of the composite signal can be secured.

Then the pixel shift and picture deterioration that may occur by repeating the composite / component conversion can be reduced.

This report is applied to equipment that transmits color frame information using the ancillary data packet of the bit serial interface specified in ARIB STD-B6 " Ancillary Data Packet and Space Formatting of Bit-serial Digital Interface for 525/60 Television System", and ARIB / BTA S-005B " Ancillary Data Packet and Space Formatting of Bit-serial Digital Interface for 1125/60 HDTV Systems."

 Keywords
