This Technical Report provides guidance on the operational use of lookup tables (LUTs) for color gamut conversion and dynamic range conversion in HDTV and UHDTV program production by broadcasters.

It provides common requirements for the use of LUTs in hardware and software supporting video signal conversion to enhance interoperability among equipment, systems, and other components involved in program production.
