Standard Name Specified Radio-Microphone for Land Mobile Radio Station
General Description

This standard specifies the radio equipment of specified radio-microphone for land mobile radio station regulated in the Article 49-16 of ORE and the radio equipment of digital specified radio-microphone for land mobile radio station regulated in the Article of 49-16-2 of ORE.

Radio equipment specified in this standard uses the 770 – 806 MHz radio frequencies before frequency transition to the TV white space band, the exclusive band for specified radio microphone, or the 1.2 GHz band.

According to the partial revision to the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment (ORE) and the Ordinance on Technical Standards Conformity Certification of Specified Radio Equipment (MIC, No.59 of 2012), the frequencies of land radio stations for specified radio-microphones were migrated to the TV white space band, the exclusive band for specified radio microphones, or the 1.2 GHz band.


After the transitional measures, this standard was withdrawn because the migration of all 29,187 radio stations had completed by the end of March 2019.

3.1 07.03.2013

Grounded on the basic plan of assigning frequency for 700 / 900 MHz band in the action plan, to reorganize frequency assignment, revised in September, 2011, radio frequencies for specified radio-microphone and digital specified radio-microphone for land mobile radio station were decided to be transferred, and the legislation for the transition to TV white space band or 1.2 GHz band was made in July, 2012.

In this legislation it is described that the transition shall be completed before March 31, 2019.

Revision of this time includes interim measure for the radio frequency transition according to the legislation above.

2.1 11.30.2005 Revise definitions, tolerance limits, interim measure for the revision, and measurement method on spurious emission, etc. in accordance with amendment concerning technical criterion on Permissible Values for Spurious Emission, and so on.
2.0 07.25.2000 Revise according to introducing stereo transmission method and radio-microphone for ear monitoring.
