| General Description | This standard specifies “Radio Equipment of Radio Station for Low Power Data Communication System” and “Equipment for Wireless LAN System”, which is radio station for low power data communication system regulated in the Article 6 paragraph 4 item 4 of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Radio Law, performing radio communication for chiefly data transmission (including those connected to Telecommunication circuit facilities). (corresponding particularly to 14 ch in IEEE 802.11b) Requirements specified in this standard shall generally not include protocols, whereas as an exception for the system, conforming ISO/IEC 8802-1, and intended to interconnect with other systems (hereinafter refer to ‘interconnection system’), requirements is specified including protocols. |
