General Description

This ARIB Standard specifies “Radio Station for Disaster Prevention in Local Area” based on Article 7-9 No.3 of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment.

Radio Stations for Disaster Prevention in Local Area are classified such as base station, land mobile relay station, and land mobile station. This Standard specifies radio equipment such as transmitter with antenna, receiver, and controller.

Abolition of this standard.

The Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment was partly revised on July 2nd, 2001. Then the Standard for Radio Equipment for Disaster Prevention in Local Area was deleted. However, as an interim measures,

this Standard was valid until May 31st, 2011.

2.1 11.30.2005 Revision of definition of spurious emission and its permissible value, interim measures , method of measurement in line with the revision of Technical Standard regarding permissible value of spurious emission.
2.0 03.26.2003 Revision of this standard in line with deletion of the technical requirements for Radio Equipment for Disaster Prevention in Local Area. Interim measure; Current licensees are able to operate their radio station until May 31st, 2011. (Increasing number of stations is also admitted.)
