Overview of ARIB Standards (STD-T112)

1. Overview

STD Number ARIB STD-T112
Standard Name Specified Radio Microphone for Land Mobile Radio Station (TV White Space Band, Exclusive Band, 1.2GHz Band)
Enactment Date 07.03.2013
General Description

This standard specifies on radio equipment of specified radio microphone for land mobile radio station specified in the Article 49-16 of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment, and radio equipment of digital specified radio microphone for land mobile radio station specified in the Article 49-16-2 of the Ordinance Regulating Radio Equipment. (It specifies on radio equipment, operating frequency of which is shifted to a Television White Space band, exclusive band for Specified Radio Microphone, or 1.2GHz band.)

Based on the basic policy of the operating frequency band allocation to 700/900MHz band according to the operating frequency band reorganization action plan revised in September, 2011, the frequency bands for the land mobile station of the specified radio microphone and the land mobile station of the digital specified radio microphone are decided to be shifted. And then the institution maintenance to shift to a TV Whitespace Band or 1.2GHz band was performed in July, 2012. To cope with this, this standard regarding the related system is specified.

Note that in order to shift the frequency band and to meet sharing conditions with the terrestrial digital television broadcasting, and the like, readjustment was made in part to the compulsory standards regarding an operating frequency band, permissible values for spurious emission intensity and unwanted emission intensity, tolerance for antenna power, and the like, but other technical requirement remains the same as before the frequency band shift (RCR STD-22).
