General Description

This standard specifies data program exchange specification when data program (data broadcasting contents) is exchanged between broadcast stations or between broadcast station and production, and transmission system of trigger signal for data broadcasting which is transmitted in ancillary data packet form between broadcast stations, for data broadcasting in digital broadcasting.

This standard applies to broadcasting equipment that transmits and receives trigger signal for data broadcasting which is transmitted according to ARIB standard STD-B6 “Ancillary Data Packet and Space Formatting of Bit-serial Digital Interface for 525/60 Television System”

Transmitting station Broadcasting station that is at the side which distributes data broadcasting contents on transmitting and receiving data broadcasting contents between broadcasting stations. It is relatively called transmitting station to the station which is at the side which receives data broadcasting contents (receiving station).
Ancillary data On digital interface, this represents various kinds of signals which are transmitted by using blanking interval of video signal.
Reservation capacity Information of capacity that is not decided at early stage, and is used for insert or replacement at last stage in producing contents. Insert represents to insert materials into incomplete part of the contents, and means to operate to complete program. And, replacement means the operation to replace existing contents with other contents.

1.2 03.14.2006 (1)Considering the operation for one segment broadcasting, the provision regarding composition of contents and BCBL which represents attribute is reconsidered.
Also, definitions are added for clarification and misprints are corrected.
1.1 07.29.2003 (1) According to the amendment of normative reference ARIB STD-B24(version3.5),the value which attribute of document_resolution can take in elements (data_component_descriptor), (data_contents_descriptor), and (data_es) are reconsidered. (320×240 4:3 and UNSPECIFIED are added and so on.).

And (2) link to stored content by informative reference ARIB STD-B10 (version 3.5) and amendment edition of TR-B14 (version 1.4), and indication form are added, etc., and the main standard of STD-B35 is clarified and reservation capacity is deleted in operational rule of Attachment, so the reservation capacity shall not be operated.
