General Description

This standard specifies coding system for video, audio and metadata, transmission system and storage control system in digital broadcasting system which utilize storage function with big capacity, based on the report (30 September 2002) to the request for advice No.2003 by Information and Communication Council “Technical Conditions on Digital Broadcasting System which apply Storage Function with big capacity”, and corresponding Ordinance.

2.0 04.26.2010 ·According to the provision of standard for download system in advanced wide band satellite digital broadcasting, description format of ECG metadata which is necessary to carry out service is added and changed, and definition is added, And dictionary, etc. are newly set and extended.

·By reconsidering the structure of this standard, Annex is classified to 3: dictionary, schemer and provision per service and these are described. And operational guideline as Attachment1 are added.

·Correction of misprints, clarification of expression and unification of usage

1.3 03.14.2006 ·As ETSI technical specification which is a normative reference was changed, in order to keep global consistency, this standard is amended such as change of notation for version of name space, modification of schemer, and addition of dictionary.

·In order to deal with the supposed operation for server type broadcasting, those are amended such as a part of notation, addition of dictionary and so on.

·Correction of misprints, clarification of expression and unification of usage

1.2 12.14.2004 ·As ETSI technical specification which is a normative reference was changed, this is amended in order to keep global consistency.

·Amendment for being based on IETF standard and keeping global consistency

·Correction of misprints, clarification of expression and unification of usage

1.1 05.25.2004 ·As TV Anytime standard which is a normative reference was amended, and this standard became ETSI technical specification, the name of reference is changed.

·In order to correspond ETSI technical specification, anonymous type is changed to named type in the name space of metadata, and so on.

·In order to keep consistency in ARIB STD-B38, an item about usage of dictionary and a dictionary as Annex are added.
