| General Description | This standard specifies transmission systems for Advanced terrestrial broadcasting system (ISDB-T3) among standard television broadcasting, high definition television Broadcasting, and ultra-high definition television broadcasting, using terrestrial basic broadcasting stations (excluding those carrying out terrestrial broadcasting for mobile reception). This system uses LDPC codes as error correcting codes, ultra-multilevel modulation such as 256QAM-NUC to 4096QAM-NUC, the frame structure that enables hierarchical transmission combining multiple layers in the time and frequency directions using the multiple symbol length OFDM system, and frame synchronization signal, etc. |
